New Euclid Shuttle Launches Thursday

Starting Thursday, Jan. 18, students can use the Euclid Shuttle, funded as part of the $100 million Invest Syracuse initiative to enhance the student experience. The Euclid Shuttle will operate Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 10:30 p.m. to 3:25 a.m.

In collaboration with Student Association (SA) and the Graduate Student Organization (GSO), the Divisions of Enrollment and the Student Experience; Business, Finance and Administrative Services; and Campus Safety and Emergency Services have expanded services to the east neighborhood, including stops highly requested by students.

Invest Syracuse Progress: New Euclid Route Shuttle to Launch in the Spring Semester

As part of the $100 million Invest Syracuse initiative to enhance the student experience, Syracuse University, in collaboration with Student Association (SA) and the Graduate Student Organization (GSO), announced plans for a new pilot shuttle to service Euclid Avenue. Chancellor Syverud Addresses DACA, Invest Syracuse at First University Senate Meeting of New Academic Year

Syracuse University Chancellor Kent Syverud addressed the University Senate for the first time in the 2017-18 academic year on Wednesday, Sept. 6. During the meeting, Chancellor Syverud extended support to all members of the University community impacted by Hurricane Harvey and the impending Hurricane Irma.  He also spoke on the University’s position regarding the change in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program announced by the federal government on Sept. 5. Alumni Dan and Kathy Mezzalingua Support University, Student Scholars through $5.25 Million Gift

University Trustee Dan Mezzalingua ’60 and his wife, Kathy G’62, are generously supporting future generations of high-achieving students at Syracuse University through a $5.25 million gift for undergraduate financial aid. Their support is directed to Invest Syracuse Initiative, a $40 million fundraising effort for new student scholarships. The Initiative is part of Invest Syracuse: Advancing Academic Excellence and Student Experience, a $100 million initiative that seeks to redefine the student experience, advance discovery and innovation, and expand opportunity, access and affordability.
